Interbond 2340UPC

A high temperature pipe coating providing corrosion performance in accordance with the ISO 20340 standard at ambient temperatures delivering productivity savings compared to zinc silicate and phenolic epoxy based systems. Interbond 2340UPC is based upon alkylated amine epoxy technology allowing for fast cure and application in shop or on site.

External protection of process piping and OEM operating between the temperatures of -196°C (-321°F) and 205°C (401°F), in C5M environments. Suitable for use at new construction on carbon and stainless steel either insulated or uninsulated, including cryogenic service. Due to its superior high DFT tolerance, use of Interbond 2340UPC for pipe and OEM applications significantly reduces the risk of thick film cracking when compared to epoxy phenolic coatings. Interbond 2340UPC eliminates the temperature and humidity requirements associated with inorganic zinc coatings resulting in better quality and productivity in all climates. By specifying Interbond 2340UPC for use between -196°C (-321°F) and 205°C (401°F) and Interbond 1202UPC from 205°C (401°F) to 650°C (1202°F) all process piping and OEM can be protected with only two products, reducing cost and complexity.
